THE PAPAYE Group Ghana will in January 2022, launch its new mega eco-tourism project, Papaye Recreational Village and its hallmark event to mark the 30th anniversary celebration of Papaye Fast Foods.
The Papaye Recreational Village, located on a 130-acre site, is to serve as a relaxation and event centre, and help to promote tourism in the country.
It is the finest tourism hub with an eco-friendly touch to suit visitors and tourists.
It has facilities such as a playing ground, zoo, restrooms, swimming pools, landscaping, outdoor auditorium, castle-like fences and gates, trees within their natural habitat, parking space, green serene environment and a museum, among others.
In a statement signed and issued by the Group Chief Executive Officer, Divine Asiedu, the two events will be celebrated with the “Jumbo Ghana Carnival” to be held at the Papaye Recreational Village in January 2022.
Some of the activities lined up for the Jumbo Ghana Carnival include a durbar of chiefs and queen mothers, media games, cultural performance by various ethnic groups and musical concert among others.
It will be graced by high profile public officials, Members of Parliament, the business community, diplomats and celebrities.
The CEO told BEATWAVES in an interview that Papaye’s quality service and social responsibility have been rewarded over the years, underscoring that “We will continue to provide quality services to our valued customers.”
Papaye has kept faith with its strategies of preparing fast food using recipes designed by the company, thereby giving Papaye cuisine a unique flavour.
It has received awards from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana Tourist Board and the Ghana Trade Fair Company, among others.
