Parliament Reconvenes Tomorrow

Parliament is set to resume sitting for the Second Meeting of the Second Session of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic on Tuesday, 15 May 2018.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Speaker of Parliament, Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye, which indicated that the notice of the recall was in pursuance of Standing Order 37 of Parliament.

The Right to Information Bill, which was laid during the First Meeting, will be one of the major bills for debate.

The Appointments Committee of Parliament will also screen President Nana Akufo-Addo’s nominee for Deputy Special Prosecutor, Ms Jane Cynthia Naa Torshie Lamptey.
