THE MELCOM Group of Companies on Wednesday opened its much-touted Pizza Hut at Melcom Plus, North Kaneshie, Accra.
The occasion was graced by a lot of dignitaries including the US Ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie Sullivan, Group Chair Sheila Khubchandani, Group Joint Managing Directors Mahesh Melwani and Ramesh Sadhwani, and Group Director of Brand Management, Sonya Sadhwani, among others.
Godwin Avenorgbor, Group Director of Communications, in a remark, indicated that “The Melcom Group of Companies, the diverse business conglomerate through its subsidiary, Skyline Investments Ltd, has entered into the Quick Service Restaurant Business in a big way. With as many as seven Pizza Hut restaurants earmarked for service throughout the Christmas and New Year festivities, I can assure you that there will be no dull moment any day from now.”
H.E. Sullivan, in a comment, applauded the Melcom Group of Companies for its achievements over the years and especially, the addition of the quick service restaurant business to its fleet of operations.
She encouraged the company to continue to serve quality meals and tastes which will advertise the Pizza Hut brand in Ghana.
Pizza Hut is globally recognised as the largest Pizza chain with over 18,000 restaurants in over 100 countries worldwide.
Celebrants of the Christmas season can also find Pizza Huts at Dzorwulu, East Legon’s American House, Spintex Road, UPSA Legon, Ashaiman and Marina Mall.
