Manchester United and Juventus have finally agreed all of the details on Paul Pogba’s world-record transfer, sources have told ESPN FC, with the midfielder set to undergo a medical to complete the move to Old Trafford.
United had already agreed to pay Juventus’ asking price for Pogba but had still been in negotiations over extra fees.
After protracted negotiations, United will pay a £95 million (€112.6m) transfer fee for the 23-year-old plus £20m (€23.7m) in agents’ fees.
The amount to be paid to Pogba’s representative, Mino Raiola, by each club was one of the main sticking points in talks, as Juve had been insisting that the Old Trafford club pay it all.
Sources say the three parties have now struck a deal, with United negotiating to pay Raiola less than the initial figures, and Juve set to pay the tax on the deal.
Sources told ESPN FC earlier this week that Real Madrid had been in contact with Juve to register an interest in Pogba but United’s financial strength left them in pole position to complete the deal.
