He robbed the victim of some money and fled into a nearby cocoa farm.
The victim raised alarm, prompting a swift community response that led to the arrest of the suspect.
A search led to the retrieval of one BB live cartridge, one locally manufactured pistol and a Samsung mobile phone.
A statement by the police indicated that the suspect is currently in their custody, assisting ongoing investigations.
