R2Bees
Award-winning Ghanaian rap duo, R2Bees, treated music fans in London to its repertoire of songs last Saturday evening when it put up some enthralling and energetic performances.
The members of the Tema-based hiplife group performed for over 2,750 audiences, including Ghanaian fans at this year’s edition of the Afrobeats Music Festival held at the Indigo At The 02 in London.
The members of R2Bees, who impressed music fans with their stagecraft and dance moves, charmed them with their creative skills apart from their usual vocal abilities. They gave music fans what they expected.
The rap duo, the headline act for the festival put together by UK-based radio presenter and promoter, DJ Abrantie, performed all their hit songs whilst the audience screamed out the choruses.
And when the group had to leave the stage after their performance, they audience kept screaming for more. Without a doubt, R2Bees was just ‘too much’ on the night and left the audiences with an experience that would linger on their minds for a long while.
They proved they were versatile artistes doing what they know how to do best.
Sarkodie also wowed the audience with his fast-tempo rap. Indeed, he proved why he is the nation’s artiste of the year.
All the hit songs he performed were all that was needed to make a statement about the quality of his latest album.
There were other fantastic performances from Atumpan, Kwamz & Flava, Tboyz, Precious, Uncle TC, Boga UK, DJ Billi, Mista Silva, among others, who also spiced up the show, making it a very memorable one.
