Shatty Charlotte
THE DREAM of UK-based Ghanaian gospel artiste Shatty Charlotte to have her name become a household one in the Ghanaian gospel music industry is gradually coming to pass with the release of her latest single titled ‘Aseda Afore’.
Charlotte, who is also a nurse, has developed a strong passion for spreading the gospel of Christ through music, and said she released the song to show appreciation to God for all the mercies and favour throughout the year.
Fused with beautiful rhythms and drum beats to match, the song offers great inspiration to all Christians.
The gospel artiste in the song testified to God’s power after a patient was restored to life by prayer under her supervision as a nurse in UK.
“In my first week practicing as a nurse, a young lady nearly died in my bay, she collapsed and was unresponsive so I had to press the emergency buzzer, I began to pray and it was as if someone had called her from afar, she just sat up and I was completely amazed by the work of God, this inspired me to write ‘Aseda Afore’ song.” she said.
According to her, ‘Aseda Afore’, which offers great inspiration to all Christians, educates them about the teachings of Christ.
Shatty Charlotte is optimistic that this single will be a blessing to lives and the world at large, especially this yuletide, and it’s available on all digital music platforms.
Her songs always talk about the faithfulness of God and the reason why Ghanaians should give thanks to Him as long as they live on this earth.
She has been singing since her childhood and her association with some of the seasoned music icons in Ghana spurred her on to take up music.
Her maiden album, ‘Power in Praise’, tells the story of her life and the reason one should never give up in life.
She is married with three children who all live in the United Kingdom.
