A moment during the donation
Soft Care Sanitary Products has thrown its weight behind girls’ grassroots football by donating sanitary towels to teams participating in the U15 Girls Regional Colts League in the Greater Accra Region.
The donation, made during the ongoing league activities, is aimed at promoting menstrual hygiene, boosting confidence and ensuring uninterrupted participation among young female footballers.
In support of the initiative, Naana Kabukuor Dagodjo Domaaley I, Paramount Queen of the Ada Traditional Area and patron of Cabfix Ladies, together with Jerod Doetse Kabu, CEO of Cabfix Ladies FC, presented 16 boxes of Soft Care sanitary pads to the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The donation is to benefit the U15 Girls Colts League in both the Greater Accra and Eastern Regional Football Associations.
The gesture highlights the growing involvement of corporate and community partners in supporting not only sports development but also the welfare and wellbeing of athletes at the grassroots level.
Officials of the league and representatives of the GFA welcomed the support, describing it as timely and impactful, especially for young players who often struggle with access to sanitary products.
Soft Care’s contribution underscores the importance of partnerships in advancing women’s football and reinforces the message that supporting the girl child goes beyond the pitch, helping to empower the next generation of footballers in Ghana.
