Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Limited has held the biggest ever garden party in Accra at the Polo Garden.
The party, which drew numerous customers of the bank, saw the launch of SC Mobile App, Standard Chartered’s digital banking.
SC Connect facilitated the networking for clients to experience the bank’s all new digital banking.
Sarkodie, one of Ghana’s best rappers, thrilled guests at the garden party.
He urged the gathering to use the SC Mobile during the performance.
SC’s Mobile App primarily seeks to give clients the power to make transactions with ease without disruption to their work schedule and social life.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Standard Chartered, Mansa Nettey said, “Managers say all that one needs to open an account on the app is a smartphone and a valid identity card.
“We seek to make life easier for clients and with this app; they don’t have to make separate time for banking. Why stop to drive to the bank while you can have that walk in the morning, have lunch while banking on your phone and connect with friends at the same time?”
A client with a visa card can initiate the process on phone and then make withdrawal at the nearest Standard Charted ATM.
Ms Nettey added that clients could accrue points which would enable the bearer to shop at partner shops, have dinner at partner restaurants and book tickets as well.
