The Greater Accra branch of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Event Masters GH, in collaboration with the Alliance Française, will present ‘Time With MGA’, a variety show featuring artistes of all genres, on Friday, March 2.
Artistes lined up for the concert are Shegah (dancehall), Adane Best, Nana Quame, Samuel Owusu (highlife), Kento & Joe Wizzy, Ex-Doe (hiplife), Soma Iddrissu (traditional), Tagoe Sisters and Gifty Osei (gospel).
Also on the bill is the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of MUSIGA, Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi, who will entertain fans with reggae alongside Mellodica Band, led by bassist Emmanuel Ofori.
The group will also serve as a back-up band for all the artistes. According to Appiah-Levi, this collaboration is not only aimed at assisting musicians to improve on their stagecraft when it comes to live performances but also serve as an avenue to further improve and grow the creative arts industry.
The Director of Event Masters GH, Isaac Kofi Maafo, added that his outfit is open for partnerships, as these concerts will provide one of the best and cost-effective consumer engagement platforms for organisations to promote and consolidate their brands.
