Takoradi Gets 1st Furniture Mall

Kings Group, a company that manufactures furniture and deals in other household items, has opened its first ultra-modern furniture mall in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.

With branches in Accra and Takoradi, the company is committed to shaping lifestyles and building society through innovation, job creation, and corporate social responsibility.

Speaking at the official opening of the new Furniture Mall, the Chief Executive Officer of Kings Group of Companies, Ekow Nkrumah-Bentum, said Kings Group does not only manufacture furniture but sets the standard for excellence.

He said the mall has been strategically positioned to offer stylish, high-quality, and affordable furniture solutions for customers.

He assured customers that the mall’s curated collections, ranging from contemporary designs to timeless classics, reflect sophistication, comfort, and artistic flair.

“Our products are designed with the customer in mind. They are stylish, durable, and affordable,” he stated.

“We invest in modern techniques and technologies to ensure we remain competitive and forward-thinking,” he added.

Mr. Nkrumah-Bentum mentioned that Kings Group continues to train and empower young Ghanaians, offering not just employment but clear pathways to career development.

He expressed gratitude to the people of the Western and Central regions for their enduring support over the years, stating that their belief in Kings Group has been its strength through the highs and lows of its journey.

Sylvester Annan-Mensah, General Manager of Kings Group Ghana Limited, highlighted the company’s commitment to giving back to society.

He disclosed that for the first half of the year, Kings Group provided cash donations, furniture, and educational support to several institutions, amounting to GH¢170,600.

At the opening ceremony, 12 institutions from the Western and Central regions received donations as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiative.

Some of the beneficiaries included Holy Child College of Education, Rapid Deployment Forces (RDF) of the Ghana Police Service in Takoradi and Ghana Prisons Service, Male Section, in Sekondi among others.

Abdul Majeed Dokurgu, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly (EKMA), urged the staff to continue to give their best to propel the company to greater heights.
