The late Emmanuel Kofi Quainoo
Emmanuel Kofi Quainoo, a 37-year-old teacher at Faith Academy Basic School in Assin Dompim, Assin Fosu Municipality, Central Region, has been found dead in an apparent suicide.
According to sources, the late Kofi Quainoo had resumed duty on March 3, 2026, after being absent for some time.
The deceased’s colleagues disclosed that Quainoo left the school premises around midday, citing illness, and was later found dead in his room at Assin Fosu.
His eight and seven-year-old daughters discovered his body and raised an alarm. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
