Winners and sponsors in a group photograh on hole 18
Captain of Tema Country Golf Club Joshua Peprah has described this year’s Tema Open golf competition held at the Club on Sunday as a huge success.
To him, new sponsors replacing their traditional counterparts coupled with good organization and high turnout ranks the 2nd edition of the four-day event high.
The event, the biggest on the Club’s calendar drew golfers from across the country and some parts of the sub-region.
In a post-tourney interview on hole 18, Peprah said in plain words “It’s been a huge success, as you can see, the turnout is great and the level of competition is up there. For me, the coming on board of new sponsors speaks volumes. We won’t relent, rather, we have come to the realization that hard work indeed pays.”
