Joy FM hosted the 2018 edition of its annual event dubbed ‘Keteke Fever’ on Boxing at the Omanye Hall of the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
The event attracted a large number of ‘old school’ music lovers from all walks of life.
It kicked off at exactly 8:00pm with a performance from Sammy Forson.
By 10:30 pm, the dance floor and the gate were busy. The dance floor was filled with music lovers busy dancing while others were also busy in a long queue trying to book a place in the party.
The stage, sound quality and lighting were well-planned and positioned to meet the demands of the night.
The event took a dramatic turn with everyone dancing with the tunes when DJ Andy Dosty of Hitz FM took over the turntable from Sammy Forson.
Andy Dosty, who is one of the celebrated ‘old school’ DJs in the country, dished out songs like songs like White’s ‘Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love, ‘Babe’, George Benson’s ‘Give Me the Night’, Teddy Pendergrass’ ‘When Somebody Loves You Back’, Kool & The Gang’s ‘Let’s Go Dancing’, Keni Burke’s ‘Hang Tight’, Chuck Brown & The Soul Searchers’ ‘Bustin Loose’, among others, to entertain patrons.
