Three Weeks Behind Bars Not Easy – Ebo Noah

Ebo Noah

Self-styled doomsday prophet, Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, has described his three weeks in police custody as a tough experience.

“Being in cells for three weeks was not easy. It was fun though. In the morning you sit like a monkey and at night you sleep like a fish,” he said.

Ebo Noah was arrested on December 31, 2025, by the Ghana Police Service’s Special Cyber Vetting Team over claims that the world would end in a flood on December 25, 2025.

He was granted bail on January 15, 2026, in the sum of GH¢100,000, with two sureties, one backed by a landed property or a vehicle.

He has been charged with publishing false news with the intent to cause fear and panic. The court warned that failure to meet bail conditions could lead to revocation.

The case has been adjourned to March 18, 2026, for further hearing.

Before his arrest, Ebo Noah had built what he called an “ark” at his residence, claiming it would save humanity. After the prophecy failed, he said his prayers had delayed the disaster.
