A.R Gomda reading a tribute for the deceased as other representatives of the DAILY GUIDE look on
Eighty-three-year-old Francis Attuquaye-Tetteh a.k.a. Tsofatse, who passed on a few months ago, was laid to rest yesterday at the Achimota cemetery after a burial service at his family residence at Ofankor in Accra.
The deceased had a long relationship with the DAILY GUIDE, having been responsible for binding the old copies of the newspaper since 2002.
He was born at Korle Wonkoo in Accra on May 16, 1935 and attended the Government Boy’s School, later known as Rowe Road Middle Boys’ School and then Kinbu Middle Boys’ School continuing afterwards at the West African College.
He started work with the Ghana Government Printing Press, now Ghana Publishing Company Limited.
Even at the age of 83, he continued to come and pick past editions for binding; an assignment he undertook with passion.
