VAAL Unveils 22- Storey PUNA Tower

A scene at the event

VAAL Real Estate has unveiled its new project, PUNA, Airport West, which is a 22-storey residential tower, marking the developer’s seventh landmark development.

This project, according to VAAL Real Estate, is a pivotal moment in the evolution of vertical living in the capital.

With launch prices starting from $85,000 under a limited release, the company said the development offers an accessible entry point into Accra’s high-end property market.

VAAL’s Chief Executive Officer, Alaa Zayed, speaking at the official launch of the PUNA project in Accra on February 13, 2026 in Accra, said the company was built on a simple principle: “Every project must move the city forward.”

Describing PUNA as the company’s new benchmark, he framed the launch as both a celebration and a commitment, a pledge to raise standards, exceed client expectations and contribute meaningfully to Accra’s growth.

He stated that PUNA comprises studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, each designed to maximise space, natural light and functionality.

“Contemporary layouts prioritise efficiency, elegance and comfort, supported by curated finishes chosen for durability and style,” he noted.

The Deputy Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, underscored the broader national significance of projects such as PUNA, calling it “a remarkable addition to the evolving skyline and residential landscape of Accra.”

She described the development as more than just a structure. “We are unveiling a vision of elevated urban living,” she said, explaining that the name PUNA evokes height not only in physical form, but also in perspective, quality and distinction.

She highlighted the role of credible private-sector developers in addressing Ghana’s housing needs, stressing that modern, vertical and thoughtfully designed housing is essential for the country’s rapidly urbanising population.

The Deputy Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening public-private partnerships, expanding access to housing finance and promoting sustainable, climate-resilient construction.

Sales Manager Nazir Halabi-Ahma detailed PUNA’s community-oriented amenities and smart building management systems, including leisure spaces, robust security features and design elements tailored to contemporary lifestyles and rental tenants alike.

These features, he noted, are intended to enhance both liveability and long-term investment value.
