Dignitaries of Vivo Energy during the launch of the promotion
Vivo Energy Ghana, marketers and distributors of Shell products, has launched the Shell (Taxi Bonanza) to reward customers for using Shell branded products and services throughout the year.
The promotion dubbed, ‘Filling No Y3 Deep’ is the biggest promotion of Vivo Ghana, this year and is open to all taxi, trotro and private motorists from now till 24th December.
Ebenezer Faulkner, Managing Director of Vivo Energy, in a speech read on his behalf at the launch, said Vivo energy is proud to be the providers of Shell’s differentiated fuels, offering numerous benefits including improved engine performance and reduced fuel consumption.
He said under the Shell Taxi Bonanza Promotion, his outfit will give away six brand new Hyundai Grand i10 taxis, one year worth of free fuel, six months free fuel, one month free fuel, one month worth of shopping vouchers, and a chance to win instant free airtime.
Mr Faulkner said in order to demonstrate the benefits of Shell Fuel Save to drivers, Vivo Energy ran a trial across Ghana for both private and commercial drivers where drivers used both shell FuelSave and other regular fuels.
“The results were clear that Shell FuelSave indeed lasted longer than other regular fuels,” he said.
“I want to encourage you to switch to Shell FuelSave now and you will feel the savings in your pocket. This is why customers are saying ‘Shell FuelSave, Filling no y3 deep,” he added.
He acknowledged the partnership of the National Lotteries Authority (NLA) on the Caritas platform and the support of Hyundai World by Hyundai Motors and Investments Ghana Limited.
Jerry Boachie-Danquah, Marketing Manager of Vivo Energy said, “To participate, customers must buy at least GH¢60 worth fuel to pick a scratch card, dial *714*8*secret number#send to enter the bi-weekly draws. These same customers also stand the chance of winning instant airtime of GH¢5 or GH¢2.”
There will be six bi-weekly draws for the next three months. Each bi-weekly draw will see one car and other 200 prizes given away. In all, there will be 75,000 prizes to be given away, he said.
