West Blue Receives Top Award In Nigeria

West Blue Consulting, which intends to become a world-class Information Communications Technology (ICT) organization, has been adjudged the ‘Software Development Company of the Year at the Nigeria Technology Awards held in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Chief Executive of the company, Valentina Mintah, also received the ‘Special Recognition’ Award for her tremendous contributions to the growth of the technology industry in Africa.

The awards help organizations to make an impact in IT globally.

West Blue Consulting has provided the internationally recognized Nigeria Trade Hub, Ghana’s Trading Hub, the Pre-Arrival Assessment Reporting System (PAARS) and many cutting edge innovative solutions both for Nigeria Customs Service and the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

Organizers of the Nigeria Technology awards received 3,556 entries in over 92 categories, while 102,000 votes were cast.

Out of the 300 final nominees, 54 organizations received awards in different categories.

The event recorded an unprecedented turnout for both the private and public sector operators in the Technology Business & Services, Telecoms, Banking, Education (Universities) and the Government.

Edith Udeagu, Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) and Victor Olukayode Onanubi; MD/CEO Maxtech Solutions Concept, presented the awards to the company.

Kabir Bashir, General Manager, West Blue Consulting, who received the awards on behalf Valentina Mintah, assured the organizers and the gathering that West Blue would continue to ensure the socio-economic development of the country.
