The World Trade Centre (WTC) Accra has embarked on its second trade and investment mission to Zimbabwe.

The team, led by Togbe Afede XIV, chairman of the WTC, Accra, comprises 15 business leaders from Ghana, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong, with interests in finance, information technology, cyber security, railway, power and mining.

A team of Ghanaian business leaders earlier visited the Southern African country last month.

The team was accompanied by the Zimbabwean High Commissioner to Ghana, Pavelyn Tendai Musaka,

They were met on arrival by the head of chancery at the Ghana High Commission in Zimbabwe Mrs. Alberta Quartey.

Togbe Afede XIV said the mission to Zimbabwe was a first step towards improving investment and trade between Ghana and Zimbabwe to boost intra-Africa trade in general.

Members of the trade mission are scheduled to meet the Zimbabwean Investment Authority, several state institutions and business leaders from various sectors to explore investment opportunities.
