He advised the matriculants to “pay attention while seeking knowledge and have faith while acquiring it.”

“We need knowledge and faith to provide our services to the nation and to humanity at large,” the president added.

The special guest for the occasion, Dr. Seyyed Muradi, a senior lecturer at the Al Mustapha International University, encouraged the students to exhibit maturity by learning hard to make their parents proud and not make their toil be in vein. “It is very important to acquire faith and be useful to your family and the society”, he said to the fresh students.

Later, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Gamel Nasser Adam, in a brief statement, welcomed the freshmen to the 2018 matriculation ceremony. He cautioned the students to be of good behaviour and to make good use of technological innovation and skills in achieving their aims.
