THE AFRICAN Paralympic Committee (APC), led by its President, Samson Deen, has taken delivery of a 40 seater ‘Accessible VIP Bus’.
The largesse has been made possible following the timely intervention of the Korean National Paralympic Committee.
Significantly, the brand new bus donation is to help in the successful organisation of the Accra 2023 African Paralympic Games.
Samson Deen, who is noted for his unique managerial and lobbying skills, played an important role for the bus to be secured.
Korean NPC President, Jung Jin-owan, announced the bus donation during the sidelines of the IPC GA in Berlin, Germany.
Samson Deen and other top officials such as Dr. Hayat Catab, APC Vice President and Henry Larbi, Administrative Assistant at APC Secretariat, were present.
The Korean delegation was also made up of Don-Hyan Bae, Vice Chairman of Chan Sung Group and Byung in Kim (BK), Head of Global Strategy at the Korean Paralympic Committee.
Samson Deen, after hearing the good news, showered praises on the Korean National Paralympic Committee for their timely and important support.
According to him, the bus would be used for its intended purpose by officials and athletes of the paralympic movement to help develop the sport in Africa.
