A six-year-old girl has been found dead in an abandoned vehicle at the Suame market in the Ashanti Region.
Information available to DAILY GUIDE disclosed that the deceased went missing last Sunday, May 4, when her mother brought her to the market.
Akwasi Owusu, alias Awuliquaye, speaking to this paper said the mother of the deceased, who sells plastic bowls, came to the market for her usual trading, but never returned home with her child.
“The mother informed me last Sunday that her child had gone missing, so we were in search of her which proved futile, until today, May 7, 2025 that the news broke out that the little girl had been found dead and almost decomposed in an abandoned private vehicle in the market,” Akwasi Owusu narrated.
Meanwhile, police at Suame has conveyed the body of the deceased to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) morgue for autopsy and further investigation.
