Susan Serwah Amoakohene (SSUE), one of Ghana’s young and upcoming R&B and Afro-pop artistes, will launch her new album in November this year.
The artiste made Ghana proud when she thrilled music fans at Midem International Music festival held in France last month.
Her management has disclosed that Susan’s performance at the Midem Festival attracted a standing ovation, as the mesmerised crowd jumped to their feet and danced alongside her.
At the event, she performed some of her popular hit songs from her yet-to-be released album to the delight of the entire crowd, winning the hearts of music fans with her exquisite stagecraft, singing and dance skills.
Known in the music scene as SSUE, the young artiste is one of the few talented young Afro-pop and R&B artistes in the country who is gradually becoming a force to reckon with in the music industry.
She was chosen to perform at Midem Ghana Conference by the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffour, aka Obour, who was part of the delegation at the event.
The female R&B and Afro-pop artiste on her arrival from France told BEATWAVES that she wants to go beyond the borders of Ghana and Africa to promote her brand.
A member of her management in a chat with BEATWAVES mentioned that the songs on SSUE’s upcoming album titled ‘Explosion Of My Life’ would grab the attention of all music lovers throughout the country and elsewhere when it is released.
He highlighted those who have had the opportunity to listen to some of her singles and also watched her live on stage will acknowledge that she is a prolific singer and songwriter.
SSUE, a daughter of prominent music industry personality, Kofi Amoakohene, chief executive officer of Scratch Studios and Oops Night Club, has shared stages with United Kingdom-based Ghanaian trumpeter Paul Bilson, Becca, Osibisa, Yinka Davis, Bibie Brew, Steve Bedi, among others.
