A section of the refurbished ward
Royalhouse Chapel International, through its charitable arm, Compassion Ministry which extends the love of God to the less privileged, has renovated the special ward of the Koforidua Regional Hospital.
The ward which was adopted by the Apostle General, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, head of the Compassion Ministry during the team’s visit to the Koforidua Prisons in February this year, was revamped at a total cost of GH¢11,858.
The building which once looked dilapidated was given a new life after masonry; plumbing, electrical and carpentry works were carried out.
Also, the appliances in the ward including television set, fridge and air conditions as well as the curtains and beds for the ward were replaced.
Pastor Lawyer Dzifa Gakpledzi, Director of Administration, Royalhouse Chapel, making the presentation on behalf of Rev. Korankye-Ankrah said, the Lord has blessed the church and therefore expects Royalhouse to extend that blessing to the less privileged in society.
“He expects that we extend our blessing to others so we believe the women who will be sleeping in this ward that we have refurbished will have an encounter with the God of Rev. Korankye Ankrah such that their lives will be turned around as testimonies to the glory of God,” she noted.
Director of Medical Affairs, Koforidua Regional Hospital, Dr. Anim Boamah, expressed his gratitude to the church for refurbishing the ward renamed after the Apostle General, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah.
He said the new ward will help in efficient healthcare delivery to patients who will be admitted at the hospital urging more organizations that have the resources to, “take up some of our wards.”
“On behalf of the management of the regional hospital, we wish to express our profound gratitude to Royalhouse Chapel International, especially Koforidua branch,” he said
