‘This Is Gospel’ Hits Hitz Fm

A new gospel celebrity radio show, This Is Gospel (TIG), is set to debut on Hitz FM on August 7, 2016, and will be hosted by Frank Kwabena Owusu, a seasoned banker, singer, composer, artiste manager and public speaker with almost a decade of banking experience.

He has worked in various business departments of United Bank for Africa (UBA), Access Bank, Unibank, Fidelity Bank and First Atlantic Bank. He is currently the head of key accounts department of EMWL Microfinance and doubles as the business manager for the multiple award-winning group, NO TRIBE and Nacee.

TIG will be aired on Hitz FM every Sunday between the hours of 7:00pm and 9:00pm.

The first hour will offer listeners the opportunity to know the brain behind the show, a phone-in segment to interact with listeners and other salient details about the show.

Very fresh and hit gospel songs will also be premiered and most importantly, TIG will give details such as the artiste’s name, producer of the song, studio where the song was recorded and other important details which under normal circumstance wouldn’t be mentioned on other entertainment programmes.

The show will also have a segment where Frank Kwabena Owusu will have a chat with any celebrity (both gospel and secular) from any field of the entertainment industry who is making the news and bring to the fore things that the public have never had the chance to know about that celebrity and especially break the misconception people have about these celebrities with respect to their closeness to God.

The celebrity guest will be made to select his or her top three favourite gospel songs and as the songs are aired, he or she will give reasons for the choice of songs.

TIG promises to be exciting, interesting and a show that you have never imagined.

Listeners of this show will also be allowed to send in their questions through WhatsApp to be answered by the celebrity in the studio, and Frank will also expect the celebrity to answer specific questions picked up by the celebrity in an envelope to add more fun to the show.
