3 Robbers Get 50 Months In Begoro

The suspects

The Begoro District Magistrate Court in the Eastern Region, presided over by Juliana Millicent Okrah, has sentenced three persons to 50 months’ imprisonment with hard labour for robbery.
The suspects, Prince Kwadwo, 20 years old, Ishmael Kwadwo, 18, were sentenced to 16 months each whiles Jonas Appiah, 18, was slapped with 18 months, and will begin his sentence from the Koforidua Prisons.
The prosecutor, DSP Samuel Odame, told the court that the suspects had for some time now been breaking into several shops at Begoro and stealing monies and properties.
He indicated that the suspects were the same people who broke into a Mobile Money shop some weeks ago and stole some money and laptops among other things.
DSP Odame added tha, they were arrested when they attempted breaking into the Begoro National Health Insurance office last week.
