Patience Asante presents the dummy cheque to Ken Amankwah
First Atlantic Bank has presented a cheque for GH¢100,000.00 to the Ghana@60 Anniversary Committee.
Presenting the cheque on behalf of the bank, Executive Director, Risk and Controls, Patience Asante, reiterated the bank’s commitment to contributing its quota to the development of the country.
“We are excited to be part of this milestone in the history of Ghana and as a bank we are committed to supporting the growth and developmental agenda of the country. We deem it very necessary to support the National Planning Committee with this sponsorship towards the successful organization of activities marking the 60th Anniversary,” she added.
Ken Amankwah, Chairman, National Planning Committee, on his part, said that First Atlantic Bank, an indigenous bank, responded to the call of the President with exemplary munificence as part of its social investment in Ghana.
“We further convey to you the thanks of the President,” he declared.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on January 26,2017 launched the National Planning Committee and appealed to corporate institutions to support it in raising an estimated GH¢20 million for a year-long celebration of activities for the Diamond Jubilee.
