Renowned model Archibald Acquaye says he won’t hesitate going into acting full time if the opportunity presents itself.

The Mr Ghana hunk has already featured in three movies. The first was ‘Utopia’ and then the ‘Coco Brown’ series. His latest is ‘In 3 Days’, which was premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra over the weekend.

He described his experience in the movie industry so far as “fulfilling”.

“I’ve been able to learn a couple of things to better myself as an actor and I am living my dreams. I actually learnt how to be in character,” he indicated.

Born Archibald Nii Kpakpo Acquaye, he took part in stage plays during his childhood days at North Ridge Lyceum.

Throughout his entire life, he’s been an athlete which has made him very agile in his dealings. As a model, he took part in most of the important runway shows in Ghana like Mercedes Benz Africa Fashion Show, Accra Men’s Fashion Show and modeled in the Philippines.

He’s currently Mr Ghana ambassador, who takes initiatives that aid the less-privilege and deprived kids in society. He was the only African who took part in Mr Tourism World 2016, where he won best swim wear category.

In the new movie ‘In 3 Days’, he played the role of a bodyguard to a minister. Archibald is quite a goal-driven person whose motto is LINO, ‘losing is not an option’.  Actor Dwayne Johnson ‘The Rock’ is his favourite actor and he looks up to him a lot.
