Adom FM Apologises To Ernest Opoku Over Attack

Ernest Opoku

Adom FM has rendered an unqualified apology to gospel musician Ernest Opoku for an attack he suffered in the station’s premises.

Actress Nayas assaulted the musician Monday afternoon on the premises of Adom FM.

Nayas, born Gladys Mensah Boaku, on Monday stormed Adom FM with a cane hidden in her dress and attacked Ernest Opoku over claims that the musician had had sex with her and dumped her.

The musician had just finished a live worship programme on the station when the attack occurred.

The actress has formally been charged with unlawful entry and has been granted bail after The Multimedia Group filed a case with the Nima Police on Monday.

Adom FM, in a statement issued on Tuesday, said, “All times, guests on our premises receive necessary protection. In this particular case, which is a one-off, a well-known guest, unfortunately, abused the privilege afforded her. Our sincere apologies to Ernest Opoku once again.”

The company used the opportunity “to appeal to all visitors to our premises, especially public figures, not to abuse access rights that are offered to them.”
