THE 10th biennial conference of the Association of Methodist Men’s Fellowship has ended at the Aquaah Methodist Cathedral at Tarkwa in the Western Region.

The conference was attended by more than 800 delegates including delegates from the North American Mission, UK and Benin.

The theme for the conference was ‘Go and make disciples of all nations and sustain the gains through effective stewardship’.

The presiding bishop of the Methodist Church, the most Rev Titus Awotwe Pratt, who was the special guest, spoke on the role of men in church, saying they are the unit of the church.

Most Rev Pratt related his sermon to the seven deadly sins by renowned evangelist Billy Graham and charged the men to be mindful in order not to fall into sin.

He explained that for a Christian to walk in the way of the Lord, grace must abound and the rules of God obeyed.

Awards were presented to members who distinguished themselves during the Bible quiz competition which tested their biblical knowledge.

The men’s fellowship also presented 23,000 cedis to the Aowin-kwaku hospital project to speed it up.
