Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) has launched a promotion dubbed, “Efie Ne Fie” to reward its cherished customers for patronising the company’s products.

Chief Operating Officer (COO), Alex Adzew, said about 918,420 items would be given to customers.

The promotion, expected to run till January 2019, unlike previous ones that had few token and high-prized items like vehicles, would this time see thousands of consumers who buy GOIL fuel get free fuel, free servicing and airtime, among others.

Board Chairman of GOIL, Kwamena Bartels, entreated fuel consumers to patronize the “Efie Ne Fie” promo because it’s an instant rewarding effort, adding that customers of GOIL will benefit tremendously.

Explaining the rationale behind the choice of the name, ‘Efie Ne Fie,’ Head of Fuels/Marketing, Marcus Deo Dake, said the promotion was targeted at all customers, commercial, private vehicle drivers and motor riders.

To participate, anyone who purchases GH¢80 worth of GOIL fuel and above for their vehicles or GH¢50 worth for their motorbikes and tricycles, instantly wins a scratch card to enter the promo at the GOIL service station they made the purchase.

At the GOIL Service Station, orange scratch cards would be given to customers who purchase between GH¢80 and GH¢250, while those who buy above GH¢250 would get white scratch cards, with Black scratch cards going to those who buy fuel for their motorbikes and tricycles.

After going through a charge-free process of processing and getting a pin code, the customer is then shown their reward which they collect instantly.

There are other eight partner companies in the ongoing promotion, namely First Atlantic Bank, ADB, Coconut Group Hotels Ltd, Alisa Hotel, Universal Engineering and Consultancy Ltd, Aqua-Fresh/Kalypo, Robert & Sons and Famous Famiglia Pizza.

Present were board and management members of GOIL, dealers, customers, taxi and trotro drivers, as well as Group Chief Executive & MD, Patrick A.K. Akorli and GOIL brand Ambassador, Prof. Azumah Nelson.
