Nana Ama Benson
Miss Ghana 2018, Nana Ama Benson, is expected to arrive in Sanya Hainan Province of China on November 10 to join preparations for the finals of 2018 Miss World pageant.
The 68th edition of the Miss World pageant is scheduled to take place in Sanya, China, on December 8, 2018.
Manushi Chhillar from India who won the pageant last year will crown her successor at the end of the event which will parade different queens from around the world.
Ghana’s queen left home for the pageant on Thursday, November 8 with hopes to make her country proud out there.
Nana Ama was crowned Miss Ghana 2018 at a beautiful ceremony at the Marriot in Accra on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
The 23-year-old graduate of University Ghana Nursing School, who represented the Central Region of Ghana, beat nine other beautiful contestants in the highly competitive event to win the coveted title of the Miss Ghana 2018 contest.
She also won the beauty with a purpose award during the evening in addition to two other awards.
As part of her prize package, she took home the Miss Ghana crown, a Mahindra KUV 100 official car and also has an opportunity to represent Ghana at the Miss World pageant.
She is expected to push brand Ghana out there.
