Classmates of late Josephine presenting the items to the home
FORMER SCHOOLMATES of the murdered former Marketing and Public Affairs Manager of Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) have appealed to the police to speed up probe into the brutal murder of their colleague.
According to the former students of Tema Parents Association School (TEPAS), delay in arresting the perpetrators would deny the deceased and her family real justice.
Leader of the group, Johnny Koku Biga, said that they would not allow the case to remain unsolved.
He made the statement when the 1983/4 year group of TEPAS presented some food items to inmates of Amazing Shepherd Children’s Home on behalf of the deceased known for her humanitarian works for the orphanage.
“This case has attracted a lot of interests with so much concern raised by lots of people. We will not allow this case to be part of the statistics of those unsolved crimes in the country. If the police need any help, be it external or internal, they should make it known. The perpetrator(s) must be arrested and face full rigours of the law,” he stated.
Mrs. Martha Alipui, founder of the home, expressed her gratitude to the classmates of the deceased for the gesture.
“Madam Josephine, until her death, often supported this orphanage through funding, donation of items and with advice,” she said.
The GPHA top official was gruesomely murdered on January 13, 2019, at her residence at Emefs Estate at Mataheko in Tema.
