THE NEW Patriotic Party’s (NPP) desire to retain the Subin Constituency seat with a higher voter margin, has been given a lifeline.

A former Subin NPP Member of Parliament (MP), Isaac Osei, has pledged to work assiduously to win more votes for the ruling political party.

Isaac Osei has teamed up with another former Subin NPP MP, SK Boafo, to support Eugene Boakye Antwi, the sitting NPP MP, to retain his seat.

The two former Subin lawmakers have started a campaign to help secure an avalanche of votes for President Akufo-Addo and Eugene Antwi.

The presence of the duo in Subin seems to have energised the other party members, as the party is in high hopes to win more votes for the NPP.

Aside their personal campaign for votes for the party, Messrs Isaac Osei and Boafo joined the NPP Subin Constituency Health Walk.

The mammoth event, held on Saturday, saw NPP members walking through the principal streets and showcasing the party’s beautiful paraphernalia.

Isaac Osei, addressing the NPP members, pledged his unalloyed support for Eugene Boakye Antwi to enable him retain the Subin seat in style.

According to him, every true NPP member in Subin should rally behind Eugene Antwi so that the party would secure huge votes on December 7.

Mr. Osei, who commands a lot of respect and authority in the NPP across the country, admonished every loyal NPP member to work hard.

He particularly charged the NPP members in Subin to join the party’s house-to-house campaign in order to win more souls for the ruling political party.

Isaac Osei, who is a former TOR Managing Director (MD), described President Akufo-Addo as a visionary leader, who had lived up to expectation.

“President Akufo-Addo is the suitable person to lead Ghana into affluence, so let’s campaign for more votes for him to do more for the state,” he said.

Mr.  Osei said President Akufo-Addo had put the country on the path of prosperity, so his mandate should be renewed for him to complete his good works.
