Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste, Jupitar, whose music has gone down well with music lovers, says his new album is a masterpiece that demonstrates his readiness for the international music markets as well as his versatility.
According to the artiste, his mission as a dancehall artiste is to use his music and brand to promote Ghana as well as Africa culture to the outside world.
“Over the years, music is changing in diverse ways and it is up to every artiste to be dynamic and make enough to feed the various musical markets in the world,” he said.
Jupitar’s fame in Ghana’s music industry is common to the ordinary Ghanaian; however, his latest album has been equipped with inspiring songs with great lyrical contents.
His new album titled ‘The One’, which was released a few days ago, has dominated music reggae charts across various digital music platforms.
It has caught the attention of music lovers so much that they are visiting the various digital music platforms to either listen as well as download some of the songs of the album.
BEATWAVES gathered that management team of Jupitar are so impressed about the level of patronage that the songs on the album have enjoyed so far on various digital music platforms.
The songs on the album have created stiff competition for established reggae/dancehall artistes who are making waves on the digital music platforms.
A source close to the artiste says the demand for Jupitar’s ‘The One’ album has skyrocketed since last week because the songs are very good.
According to the team, the singer is ready to capture the market this year with his latest album, which is available for download and streaming on all digital platforms.
Jupitar, born Michael Okine, is currently on an album tour in the USA and is also expected to travel around Europe to promote his album later in the year.
BEATWAVES gathered that the album will do better on the music market than others because all his songs are unique, enjoyable and educative.
Jupitar’s album is a compilation of some of Ghana’s best musical talents which includes Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Medikal, Yaa Pono, Samini and Tinny.
‘The One’ album, which is being marketed worldwide by Jupitar’s management team, is a collection of 20 brand new songs.
Based on his outstanding achievements since he joined the music industry, Jupitar has proven beyond all reasonable doubts that he is a prolific vocalist, songwriter as well as a good performer.
He was optimistic that his style of play, coupled with the fact that most of his songs were fused with soul-touching rhythms, would take him places.
The 20-track album has song like ‘Waiting’, ‘Star Life’ featuring Shatta Wale, ‘Honour You’ featuring Sarkodie, ‘Holy Holy’ featuring Medikal, ‘Mi Amor’ and a host of others.
