Ghanaian urban radio station, Guide Radio 91.5FM, has ended its one-year anniversary celebration with a pledge to provide excellent contents to entertain its listeners.
The fast-growing station marked the celebration with four significant events, all held at the Guide Radio gardens, with sponsorship from Ballantine’s True Music.
The “Who Is She Power Seminar”, led by women on the opportunities available in the creative and entertainment space; “Music 101”, a seminar for artists and their teams to understand the basics that are often ignored when pursuing a music career; and the “Up And Running” street workout where the Guide Radio team worked up some sweat with fans and listeners.
The event climaxed with the “915 Funhouse Party” which saw music industry persons, artists, fans and listeners of Guide Radio coming together to have a good time.
With the core team behind Guide Radio’s activities’ collective love for music, it’s not farfetched to see them successfully build what the team lead, John Abban calls the greatest community connected by music in and beyond Ghana, in a few years.
One major take away from the communication and overall execution of the anniversary celebration proves that Guide Radio 91.5FM is not just going to be a radio station walking the divergent path of giving equal play to mainstream and alternative music but also, a major content house essential to artists, creators and persons of interest to the culture.
