DWP dance group a couple of weeks ago staged a brilliant live cultural musical dance performance at one of the African cultural dance event held recently, where cultural fans were entertained with traditional African music and creative and choreographed dance pieces.
The group which has worked with a number of international act which include Usher was featured in Beyonce and Shatta Wale music video recently
At the event, the group thrilled the audiences with Ghana’s cultural music and dances.
It was an unforgettable night of well controlled and coordinated movements of legs, arms, heads, fingers and bottoms, amidst loud and complex African drumming.
With bodies well crafted by the art the members of the group have so gracefully mastered, they managed to turn dancing into a kind of sensation, an incantation and indeed a therapy that left the audience with no choice but to allow themselves to be captured into a body expression that bordered on the fringes of emotion.
