“Save the Nation Movement” Party outdoored

Desmond Kwame Abrefah

A new political party “Save the Nation” has been launched in Accra ahead of the December 7 elections with a call on Ghanaians to embrace its vision of transforming the country from its current situation.

Speaking at a launch last Monday in Accra, the leader of the party, Desmond Kwame Abrefa said Ghana has not been able to develop over the years due to lack of leadership to transform the economy like other developed countries.

He said ” clearly, our roads, markets, health centers, educational structures are not up to standard as compared to most developed and developing countries across the globe”.

According to him, various governments have also failed to train the youth with hands-on skills that would enable them to take up roles aimed at providing them opportunity to contribute towards the development of the country.

He also subscribed to the call by many for a “politically inclusive government” where people are offered opportunities to serve irrespective of their political affiliations.

He said that the country could lose a lot of its human resource if people were continuously denied opprtunities to serve based on their political leanings.

“I am pleading with Ghanaians to come and join “Save the Nation Movement” for us to collectively move Ghana to the next level”.

“We are all Ghanaians, let’s forget about this divisive partisan politics and bring every one on board because there are brilliant people in this country”. he added

Mr. Abrefah further expressed his preparedness to initiate home grown policies to address the challenges facing the country instead of resorting to supports from some advanced countries by some African leaders.
