Grammy-winning singer, Adele, has announced the postponement of her Las Vegas residency show, titled ‘Weekends with Adele’, due to health issues.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Adele revealed her decision, stating, “Sadly, I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency.”
She explained that despite falling ill at the end of the last leg of her tour and during her break, she hadn’t fully recovered before shows resumed. Now, she finds herself sick again, affecting her voice. Her doctors have advised her to rest thoroughly.
The five weekends of concerts scheduled through to March 30, will be rescheduled, with ticket holders being informed accordingly. Adele expressed her love for her fans, apologised for any inconvenience caused, and assured them that she would miss them.
Adele’s residency, which debuted at the Colosseum Theatre at Caesars Palace in November 2022, is set to conclude on June 15.
