Rev Stephen Wengam

The entire Executive Council members of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship have attended a special mid-week service, christened: Sheba Day, at Cedar Mountain Chapel of Assemblies of God, Ghana at East Legon in Accra.

The Vice Chairman of World Assemblies of God Fellowship and General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, USA, Rev. Doug Clay preached on the topic: “How To Become A Healthy Church.”

He indicated that a healthy church is a local assembly that has a strong commitment to the Word of God, prioritises the ministry of the Holy Spirit and pursues missions aggressively.

Subsequently, Rev. Clay led the Executive Council members of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship to lay hands on, and pray for every member present.

In a goodwill message, the Global Chairman of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, Rev. Dominic Yeo, encouraged the church in Ghana to do more to make the impact of the church felt in all areas of national life.

The Lead Pastor of Cedar Mountain Chapel, who is also the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, thanked the Executive Council for making time to fellowship with the church.

He presented special gifts to every member of the delegation consisting of General Superintendents of Assemblies of God churches in Malaysia, Poland, Germany, Costa Rica, Guyana, USA, Singapore, Spain, Cote d’Ivoire, Gabon, South Africa and India.
