Ayensuano Seat Is Coming Back- Napo Declares

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Vice Presidential candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has expressed confidence in reclaiming the Ayensuano constituency seat in the upcoming election.

This optimism was shared during a recent visit to Anum Apapam in the Ayensuano Constituency, where he emphasized the people’s resolve to safeguard gains made in Free SHS, electricity stability, and other initiatives.

Dr Opoku Prempeh addressing the residents said that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the leader Ghana needs, hence the need for Ghanaians to vote for him.

Ida Adjoa Asiedu, the NPP’s Parliamentary candidate, also reaffirmed the party’s determination to win back the seat from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Ida Adjoa Asiedu emphasized that the NPP will leave no stone unturned in achieving this goal, driven by her desire to address the pressing needs of the constituents.

The Ayensuano constituency has been a key strong hold of the ruling New Patriotic Party.

In the 2020 elections, the NPP lost the seat to the NDC by a narrow margin of 241 votes.

However, with Ida Adjoa Asiedu at the helm, the NPP is confident of success.

Addressing the chiefs and residents of Anum-Apampam, Adjoa Asiedu outlined a comprehensive plan to strengthen party structures at the grassroots level, highlight the NPP’s developmental projects in the constituency, and focus on issue-based campaigning.

Her message to party members is clear: “We must work together to achieve this goal. Let’s mobilize our supporters, highlight our achievements, and focus on the issues that matter most to our constituents”.

However, the NPP’s determination to reclaim the seat is expected to intensify the electoral contest. As the elections approach, the battle for Ayensuano is expected to heat up.
