Legendary gospel musician and fashion designer, Abena Serwaa Ophelia, previously known as Ophelia Nyantakyi, is back after being quiet on the music scene for some time.
She has released a new single titled, ‘Wonfa Mma No’, featuring Ceccy Twum and Efe Grace.
The mind-blowing song comes off her yet to be released
album, ‘Aseda’. The song admonishes all to praise, honour and glorify the Lord.
According to Ophelia, it is her desire and prayer that the new song will shape the minds and hearts of all to conclude that, in the good and bad times, there is the need to lift praise and honour to the Lord.
‘Wonfa Mma No’ is currently available on all digital music platforms.
The song was officially released with a premiere ceremony for its video on Tuesday at the Cafe Bar Noir at Dzorwulu, Accra. The ceremony was attended by several showbiz and media personalities from the gospel sector of the music industry.
Among them were Stella Aba Seal, Stacy Amoateng, Prophet Kofi Oduro, Obaapa Christy and a host of others.
“We have recorded the song a long time ago but we were waiting on God as to when we should release it. We didn’t just want to release it and pay attention to the amazing musicians on this song,” she told the moderator of the ceremony.
“I chose to feature Ceccy Twum because of the anointing on her. I love her ministry and her person as well. She is someone I admire,” she indicated, while she praised Efe Grace for being a unique talent.
