Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu
Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has been appointed International Relations Manager at Ghana Premier League side Aduana FC, adding his experience and global connections to the club’s management team.
In his new role, Agyemang-Badu is expected to help put structures in place to improve player development and international exposure, while also leveraging his network to build strategic partnerships that will benefit the club.
The appointment was officially announced on Wednesday, January 28, during a training session with the team.
Addressing club management, the technical staff and players, Agyemang-Badu expressed appreciation to the club’s owner, Nana Agyemang Badu II, and outlined his commitment to Aduana FC’s long-term progress.
“I thank Nana Agyemang Badu II, the management, CEO Atta Poku and the technical team. I watched the team’s last game and I am here to help the club succeed. When someone invests in football, they must benefit from it,” he said.
He stressed the importance of building strong systems and marketable quality, noting that Aduana FC must position itself to attract opportunities beyond local support.
“It cannot always be that the CEO goes back to Nana for support. We need quality that can sell itself. My job is to create links outside. I already have some, but we need to build new ones too. We must sell the name Aduana,” Agyemang-Badu added.
Aduana FC will be hoping the former midfielder’s addition to the management setup drives sustained growth both on and off the pitch. Meanwhile, the two-time Ghana Premier League champions are set to face FC Samartex in their Matchday 21 clash at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park.
