This year’s edition of the annual Asa Baako Music Festival will take place from March 2 to 6 at the Busua village near Takoradi in the Western Region.
This year, the festival is expected to bring together people from all walks of life to celebrate Ghanaian and African music and culture.
Some of the activities lined up for this year’s event include live musical performances which will feature artistes and DJs from Ghana and other parts of the world, workshops, boat trips, exhibition, beach football and volleyball, beach parties, among others.
The event will also create opportunity for music fans to interact with both local and foreign artistes billed to perform at the event.
This year’s event will be held at the Busua Beach Resort, although patrons will be hosted in several other hotels.
Launched in 2011, Asa Baako (one dance) is managed by a team of event managers, marketers and producers based in Ghana and the UK, who work closely with the local community to create an oasis of relaxation, enjoyment, togetherness and fun.
The previous editions of the festival witnessed performances from artistes like M.anifest, Yaa Pono, Sena, Reggie Rockstone, Efya, Wiyaala, Kofi Kinaata, Wanlov The Kubolor, Kyekyeku, Lil Shaker and a host of others.
