Nigerian singer, Asake, is facing a huge backlash on social media for smashing a fan’s iPhone 16 Pro Max in Germany.
Asake, who recently performed at a concert in Germany, violently snatched the fan’s phone and smashed it on the floor, causing significant damage.
Sharing the video of the incident in a social media post, a fan named Adeoti showed the moment he tried to get a picture with Asake before he angrily broke his phone.
Captioning the video, he wrote, “@asakemusic You broke my iPhone 16 pro Max. It’s not because they pissed off inside the nightclub that you are going to react like that towards a fan. Anyway, I still love you.”
The video quickly went viral and sparked reactions on social media, with many slamming Asake for breaking the phone.
Asake has not publicly responded to the incident as of the time of this report.
