Nine out of the Ten Executives of the Asuogyaman Constituency of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Eastern Region have been voted out in the just ended Constituency Elections.
At the end of the polls held over the weekend, all the incumbent constituency executives except the Youth Organizer lost their positions.
The election which was between the fomer Parliamentary Candidate, Paul Ansah and the Chief Executive Officer of NYA, Pius Enam Hadzide’s factions saw each faction winning half of the positions with their affiliates.
The ruling New Patriotic Party in the area is preparing to defeat the incumbent National Democratic Congress, MP Thomas Ampem Nyarko in 2024 to snatch the seat after they failed in 2020.
