Prophet Joseph Atarah
Ghanaian gospel singer, songwriter and performer, Prophet Joseph Atarah, has officially launched the maiden edition of his annual gospel concert dubbed ‘Atarah Praise’.
The concert, which is expected to pull thousands of music lovers, will take place on May 28, 2023 from 4pm at the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission Auditorium at Bawaleshie in Accra.
The event will feature some celebrated gospel music icons including Piesie Esther, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Ruth Adjei, Perez Music, among others.
Speaking at the launch, Prophet Atarah said the concert will be held annually to praise and thank God for His goodness and blessings.
He mentioned that the event will be used as a platform to celebrate God for his music ministry, which has been a blessing to him over his 17 years in God’s ministry.
He will also be treating fans and gospel music lovers to a repertoire of some of his famous hits such as ‘Adom Nyame’, ‘Woye Odo’ featuring Piesie Esther among others.
According to him, the event will also be used to win souls for the kingdom of God.
He indicated, “Doing this programme, what motivated me is if I look back at what God has done in my life for 17 years in the gospel ministry, it’s not been easy, and also joining the gospel music industry for less than two years. But God has blessed me with both the prophetic and the singing, and this baffles me and it makes me humble because of that, I decided to praise God. But I can’t praise him alone, so I want to mobilise people so we can come together and lift our hands together and praise him.”
