Awakeners Int. Church @ 20

The Awakeners International Church (AIC), established in 2003, will hold a song ministration service at the church premises located off Pentecost Junction, Agape Ablekuma, in Accra, this Sunday to climax its 20th anniversary celebration.

The purpose of the Sunday, November 26 celebration is to give thanks to God for the blessings and compassion He has shown the church and its members.

BEATWAVES gathered that the 20th anniversary celebration kicked off with street evangelism, which church goers participated in an effort to win souls for Christ.

Today, November 22, a crusade will be held at the church premises, and it is expected to attract hundreds of Christians, gospel artistes, gospel ministers from various Christian groups, as well as gospel music enthusiasts.

Bishop Peter Kayode, founder and leader of the church, mentioned that the purpose of the event is to help Christians and fans of the gospel of Christ get closer to God.

He disclosed that God was prepared to collaborate with everyone in order to advance Christianity and improve possibilities for all.

Several notable figures, including philanthropists, who have aided in the development of the church, will be recognised at the ceremony on Sunday.

The crowd will be entertained with live musical performances by a selection of gospel artistes, such as Bishop Peter Kayode and the Awakeners Church Choir, who will sing some of their popular hits.

In addition, the event will provide a platform for local gospel musicians to showcase their talents and engage with God’s children via live musical performances.
