Ato Sam, popularly known as Baby Ansabah, who is the managing editor of The Punch newspaper, has formed a             non-governmental organization (NGO) named, Media Without Frontiers (Me wof).

Speaking at the launch of the association at the Ghana International Press Centre on Thursday, he said the group which comprises some journalists, National Democratic Congress (NDC) commentators, among others, is a force to impress on Ghanaians to re-elect John Dramani Mahama to govern the country.

“As a group to diffuse the opposition’s vile propaganda machinery against President Mahama, Media Without Frontiers will explain to Ghanaians that JM’s unrelenting efforts in dealing with all the issues confronting the nation and tackling the fundamentals of the state are enough grounds to allow the president to bring his dreams to perfect fruition for the country,” Baby Ansabah remarked

He added that the group, which has more than 40 members, is expected to tour the country as an advocacy entity for the president to educate Ghanaians about “ the good work of the president” to guarantee his ‘one-touch’ victory.

The Punch publisher said among other things, that the group had been well prepared to defend the president in respect of the accusations leveled against him regarding the national debt, corruption, unemployment, incompetence and effects of dumsor.

“Our mandate is to drum home loud and clear that Ghana is not ready for change of government now; for all we see is that the opposition has no other alternatives than to oppose everything, including policies they would have loved to implement if they had power,” he added.

Baby Ansabah stressed, “We do not want Ghana to slide backwards. We prefer a forward match with JM.”
